This Salt Painting Science Experiment is a fun way to combine art and science together. It is also a visual and hands-on way for children to learn about absorption as they transform their white glue drawings into colorful designs. A theory can be accepted for being ``good enough,’’ it doesn’t need to be proven to be absolutely true and, in fact, scientists don’t even attempt to do this, rather, they constantly amend their theories as new facts come in. Mathematicians do. Mathematicians come up with conjectures or theorems (such as the twin prime conjecture) and then they seek to prove those theorems to be true in an absolute sense. And, even when a theorem is proven true, mathematicians keep seeking other proofs. You may recall learning about the Pythagorean Theorem: Virtual science fair projects
